Botox® Therapy

Thanks to a new use for an approved drug, dynamic lines can be dramatically softened. The procedure known as cosmetic denervation uses Botox® injections to improve the appearance of forehead worry lines, frown lines, eye laugh lines, and crow’s feet or other dynamic wrinkles. Botox® blocks impulses from the nerve to the tiny facial muscles that are related to expression lines. After treatment, the overlying skin remains smooth and unwrinkled while the untreated facial muscles contract in a normal fashion. It can also be used to reduce sweating in the palms or underarms. Our office is designated as a National Botox® Training Center.

Restylane

When we are young our skin is smooth and elastic with a healthy glow. As we age, our ability to maintain that smoothness and elasticity diminishes, resulting in skin that becomes drier, thinner and less able to replenish itself. Our body's natural collagen and hyaluronic acid levels decrease and our skin becomes looser. This leads to our skin wrinkling and appearing older than it should.

Sculptra

SCULPTRA™ is the latest breakthrough in newly FDA-approved injectible fillers. This non-invasive treatment corrects the deepest of lines and wrinkles with long-term results using a biodegradable material called "poly-L-lactic acid". Studies have shown that SCULPTRA's potency can even correct lipaoatrophy, a condition that causes facial fat loss.

Juvederm

This procedure is one in which you can benefit with fewer crow’s feet, better, more fuller looking lips, and by simply helping to remove some of the wrinkles around your face. It uses hyaluronic acid to help in keeping a natural look. It lasts about nine months for some effects, six months for your lips. Juvederm is injected into your face to improve the look for the area. It is not painful and offers no recovery time.

Chemical Peels

Jessners & Glycolic Peels A peel is a process of applying a special high concentration of glycolic acid (GA) solution to your skin for a short period of time, ~4-8 minutes, then rinsing the solution off. In addition to peeling away the top layer of dead skin cells to reveal fresher, healthier skin underneath, GA peels also increase the collagen production under your skin which gives your skin more elasticity for a younger look. Glycolic peels can improve skin texture and tone, diminish fine lines and wrinkles; reduce brown spots and freckles, and reduce acne blemishes. A series of peels, used over weeks or months, along with a daily skin care regimen can also reduce pre-cancerous lesions and the risk of skin cancer. Laser Hair Removal

The GentleLASE, a revolutionary long pulse high energy Alexandrite laser system, emits a gentle beam of light that passes through the skin, to the hair follicle, where it is absorbed. The laser energy is transformed into heat, which can disable the follicle leaving the surrounding skin unchanged, while removing the unwanted hair. Until now, the only permanent way to remove hair has been electrolysis (which can be painful, time consuming and is limited to small cosmetic areas). Laser hair removal safely removes unwanted body hair without damaging the delicate pores and structures of the skin. Laser Resurfacing

Micro Dermabrasion

Micro-dermabrasion is a non-invasive, non-surgical, process that is preformed with a jet of fine crystals, which are vacuumed across the damaged area to remove the outer layer of skin; revealing younger, tighter, and more radiant skin underneath. Common treatment conditions include: dull, congested, acne blemished, aging skin, acne scars, some hypertrophic scars, some stretch marks, pigmentation (brown spots), seborrhea and minor skin conditions. Micro-dermabrasion is not painful and has little or no recovery time. For best results we recommend a series of 6 treatments given every 2-4 weeks. Sclerotherapy

Sclerotherapy is the injection of varicose and spider veins with a sclerosing agent, such as saline or sotradecol, for the purpose of eradicating those vessels. This is accomplished because the sclerosing solution is irritating to the lining of the bloods vessel, causing it to seal up and become invisible. Several treatment sessions are required to adequately treat either varicose or spider veins. Some veins will respond more quickly than others, resulting in a varying amount of treatments.
